I began Premier Driving School in 1971 and have been teaching people to drive in Thurles ever since. Since 1971 I have taken membership of many driving associations and also taken many opportunities to advance my skills as an instructor.
Most recently I passed my exams and was granted my Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) permit. The ADI permit is granted by the Road Safety Authority (RSA) and as of the 1st of May 2009 all driving instructors in Ireland must hold the ADI permit and display their ID badge in their car.
Some of my other achievements include
·Certified as Member of Motor Schools Association of Ireland.
·Completed Classroom Technician Training course with MSAI.
·Certified as Member Driving Instructors Register of Ireland.
·Qualified to Instruct for DIR examinations.
·Member of Institute of Advanced Motorist, Car and Truck.
·Trainer with IAM for Fleet, and Hibernian Ignition coarse
·Steer Clear Driving Educators Certificate.
